What the role entails:
- To provide support in a person-centred, caring, reliable and flexible manner based on individual need.
- To assist people with day to day living tasks including housework and shopping.
- To provide a sitting/respite service in order for carers/family to have time away from their direct caring responsibilities
- To identify risks within the home and report these to the Service Co-ordinator
- To complete the hours and tasks allocated by the Service Management Team
- To report any changes in the Service User’s condition
- To attend team meetings
- To participate in supervision with Line Manager
- To participate in a formal induction
- To participate in training as required.
- To register with NISCC and keep annual registration up to date
- To work effectively and flexibly as part of a team
What We Need from You:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Access to transport or public transport in order to carry out the duties of the post
