Accounts Assistant

Permanent, Monday – Friday
35 hours per week, early Friday finish
£27,500 + (DOE)
Job Purpose:
Bryson Charitable Group is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team, working in a fast-paced environment the successful jobholder will work with the existing finance and accountancy team that is in place. They will play a crucial role in the Finance Team supporting the daily financial operational needs of the business along with driving improvements in processes and controls.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on both the sales ledger and purchase ledger in a busy accounts office
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office – Word and Outlook
- Working knowledge of an integrated accounting system e.g. SAGE
- Working knowledge of payroll nominal postings and reconciliations
- Experience of balance sheet reconciliations e.g. bank reconciliations, supplier statement reconciliation
- Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English at grade C and above, or equivalent
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Willing to attend training as necessary
