Assistant Manager

Permanent (Monday – Friday)

35 hours per week

Holiday’s 12 Statutory days – pro rata plus 20 Annual days – pro rata

£30,076.20

Exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to Join our Care Team to assist with the effective management and the delivery of Bryson’s Domiciliary Care Total Support Service in accordance with agreed aims and objectives, best practice principles and statutory and regulatory requirements. (On-call in emergency/exceptional circumstances).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with the management of the day-to-day operations
  • To contribute to the on-going assessment and review the needs of each service user
  • To lead on growth of the Total Care support services
  • To participate in the recruitment selection, induction, training, mentoring and coaching of staff
  • To maintain clear, accurate and timely reports and records

What we’ll need from you:

  • Minimum of 5 years paid experience of supporting people in a domiciliary/ social care setting
  • Minimum 2 years paid experience of managing / supervising staff
  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Services (Adult Management)
  • Full driving licence and access to a car

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of monitoring quality in services
